Our friends at Ferrero North America’s Famous Amos and the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC) are partnering to launch the Famous Amos Ingredients for Success Entrepreneurs Initiative, an annual national program in its fourth year that provides a total of $150,000 in capital awards, mentorship, and educational resources to Black early-stage businesses.
Program Purpose
Famous Amos continues this initiative in honor of the brand’s founder, Wally Amos, to create pathways for Black business owners to thrive. Famous Amos remains committed to advancing racial equity through its work as a company and its connection to the communities it serves.
Community Overview
Black business owners are encouraged to apply to this national award program. Three winners will receive a total of $150,000 in capital awards. Supporting Black-owned businesses helps to close the wealth gap many in the Black community experience.
How to Apply and Judging Details
Submit an application on the program website by Sunday, Aug. 4 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Applications will be reviewed and the top 10 finalists will be selected to move on to participate in the next round. The top 10 finalists will be narrowed down to three winners by the program’s renowned Black entrepreneur judges. The three winners will be announced on Tuesday, Sept. 24, and awarded $50,000 along with tools and resources provided by USBC.
