Urban Outfitters is ready to shake up the back-to-campus season with their latest Shift Happens campaign. This fall, they’re dropping UO LIVE—a series of in-store experiences featuring all your favorite Gen Z artists and creators.
These events are all about building community and making those back-to-school vibes unforgettable. Plus, they’re rolling out UO College Shops: 20 campus-adjacent pop-ups packed with must-have college gear.
Starting August 13, UO LIVE will hit up top college towns like Athens, Georgia; Georgetown, D.C.; Tucson, Arizona, and more. These in-store showcases will feature performances by big names like Quavo and Towa Bird, turning Urban Outfitters stores into intimate stages where you can connect with your favorite artists and creators. It’s all about making the start of the school year more exciting and less stressful.

Alongside UO LIVE, Urban Outfitters is setting up UO College Shops in 20 key college-adjacent locations. These pop-ups will be your new go-to spot, featuring everything from quirky dorm essentials to trendy beauty must-haves. Expect exclusive collaborations, culturally relevant brand partnerships, and unique UO touches everywhere. They’ll have expanded home assortments, cozy throws, multifunctional storage, and even some UO-exclusive Birkenstock launches and limited-edition drops from Baggu and Champion.
