Award-winning filmmaker and radio personality Tim Greene played tennis for two HBCUs, Hampton University and Livingstone College, and received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management with a Communications minor from Shaw University.
Growing up in Philadelphia in a single parent home of six siblings and a descendent of slaves out of Atlanta Georgia, Greene created Next Kids Worldwide® in order to help underprivileged kids around the country who want to improve their lives and strive for excellence. And with all of the chatter about young kids hearing and viewing negative music or award shows, it is a much-needed positive change of pace in the culture.
Next Kids Worldwide® has gifted without any sponsors over 400 students in need with laptop computers and other school supplies so they can complete online classes and do research projects year-round.
Greene also gives free motivational workshops during his multi-city tours to help keep kids motivated in education, keeping a positive mindset and going after your dreams regardless of where they come from. He has also done workshops at senior citizens facilities, foster kids conventions, prisons and veterans’ events. Being a radio broadcaster Tim would hear some of the music that is currently being played with explicit lyrics and recording artists having major arguments or beefs against each other, so he decided to give kids from ages 5 to 12 a positive choice on what they wanted to watch and listen to.
At Next Kids Worldwide®, kids can even send in their original music to: [email protected] for a chance to be played and kids will see interviews of other kids who started their own businesses and give back to their communities as well as give advice on how they received their scholarships and how other kids can apply for scholarships as well. You will not see kids holding up stacks of money to their ears at Next Kids Worldwide®, they will be holding up how many books that they have read during the month. That way the next kid will inspire the next kids worldwide. At Next Kids Worldwide®, their tagline is “Strive For Excellence”. Resilience and Recovery
A catastrophic fire destroyed Greene’s apartment complex and Next Kids Studios, leaving him and many others with nothing but the clothes on their backs. “We all made it out safely, thanks to the great first responders,” Greene says. “I would have never thought that in a million years that after over 15 years of building Next Kids Worldwide® that I would have to start all over again from zero.
Rebuilding Dreams
Next Kids Worldwide® Inspires and Empowers Youth Globally. In the face of adversity, Greene is on a mission to rebuild and expand his philanthropic movement dedicated to empowering children through education and the arts. His commitment to making a positive impact on young lives remains unwavering.
The network’s demand for self image positivity is so great that Greene has created a Next Kids Cash App and a GoFundMe page for people to donate and share the links to help Next Kids Worldwide® rebuild and expand.
How Next Kids Worldwide® Came About
Just like a journey of 1,000 miles, Next Kids Worldwide® started with a single step and has morphed into this online sensation with viral applause on social media platforms worldwide and news networks such as NBC, CBS, CNN and ABC (see video links).
Greene’s journey began in North Philadelphia, where he grew up in a single-parent household of six. His life changed forever when Billie Jean King’s Philadelphia Freedoms Tennis Team came to his hood and introduced him and his friends to the game of tennis. This pivotal moment led to a series of life changing opportunities, including becoming a ball boy for tennis legends like Arthur Ashe, John McEnroe, winning over 120 tennis trophies, and receiving a scholarship to summer tennis camp held at Princeton University at the age of 13. Inspired by these experiences, Greene wants to offer similar opportunities to children worldwide. Next Kids Worldwide® breathes fresh life into the global education and entertainment scene as a positive cultural revolution. Many of the kids featured have acted in projects from Tyler Perry Studios, Disney, Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios Warner Brothers, Lifetime Network and CBS.

Next Kids Worldwide® has been introducing children aged 5 to 12 to positive educational platforms in seven different languages with online visits from over 75 countries. With millions of views combined, the impact is undeniable. The platform has successfully helped kids gain business licenses and have higher self-esteem. Greene’s concept is all about letting kids unleash their self-expressiveness and creativity in positive ways.
