The Black Crowes are set to release their first album in 15 years titled Happiness Bastards. They will mark the occasion with a special performance, part of the City Sessions series on March 15, which will be livestreamed on Amazon Music.
The band will perform a mix of their new songs and classic hits in an intimate setting at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York, with the option for fans to purchase tickets to attend in person via AXS. For those unable to join physically, the concert can be viewed on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, a popular streaming platform. The performance is scheduled to kick off at 9 p.m. ET.
Amazon Music and the Black Crowes recently worked together on “1972,” an EP featuring covers of songs by David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, and Little Feat.
Earlier this year, the band revealed “The Happiness Bastards Tour,” encompassing a 35-city worldwide journey from April 2 to June 9 with stops in key locations such as Nashville, Los Angeles, New York, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Berlin.
The Black Crowes notably supported Aerosmith on three occasions in 2023, headlined multiple U.S. fall shows, and toured South America. Their latest Pollstar Boxoffice data is from August 19, 2022, where they sold 2,851 tickets and earned $208,196 at Harrah’s Council Bluffs in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The Black Crowes are represented by CAA and managed by Mark DiDia of Red Light.
