The Baloch community around the world commemorated Black Day on March 27. The Baloch National Movement in the Netherlands organized a protest rally in Amsterdam to draw global attention to the Baloch genocide.
Protesters at the rally held up placards and banners condemning the forced occupation of Balochistan by Pakistani forces.
They also distributed pamphlets to raise awareness among locals about the Balochistan issue.
Emphasizing their ongoing struggle, protesters highlighted how Balochistan was annexed by Pakistani forces on March 27, 1948.
Speaking on social media platform X, Islam Murad Baloch, a member of Baloch National Movement, stated, “The international community must intervene in Balochistan to address the violations of Baloch human rights. Human rights defenders and the UN should impose sanctions on Pakistan for violating Baloch rights. Pakistan must leave Balochistan.”

Another activist, Fazila Baloch, asserted that Balochistan never belonged to Pakistan and was unlawfully taken over on March 27.
“Balochistan was never part of Pakistan. It was illegally occupied on March 27, 1948. Since then, the Baloch nation has been resisting the invasion of their homeland. Balochistan Is Not Pakistan,” stated Fazila.

In Balochistan, Pakistan’s most underdeveloped region, the country’s intelligence agency, Inter-Services Intelligence, has been accused of various atrocities, such as abductions, killings, and torture, to instill fear.
Baloch activists are also petitioning international authorities to address the ongoing genocide of their community members.
They are urging the United Nations and human rights organizations to take action and hold the authorities accountable for the atrocities committed in Balochistan.
Furthermore, they are calling for a fact-finding mission led by the United Nations Working Group to investigate the situation. (ANI)
