TMZ seems to have a strong interest in stories related to Chris Brown, so much so that the singer accurately predicted that they would publish a “bullsh*t” story about him. In a series of tweets, Brown suggested that TMZ would run a false story due to a lack of traffic. His prediction proved correct when TMZ indeed published an article claiming that Brown’s friends and family are concerned about his alleged addiction to codeine syrup, also known as “sizzurp.”
The article primarily relies on a photo of Brown with his friends at a pumpkin patch, in which red and styrofoam cups are visible. TMZ assumes these cups contain sizzurp.
Tmz is about to run a bogus story tomorrow becuz they aren’t getting any traffic.

TMZ does mention a prior report about Chris testing positive for codeine during a custody battle, but it was disregarded as he had a prescription.
